Tim’s campaign starts with a simple idea: local government should be close enough to listen and disciplined enough to act on the facts.

During eight years of municipal service, he collaborated with four mayors, elected and appointed commissioners, multiple town managers, and partners across local, county, and state government. That work meant navigating budgets, public safety, coastal projects, stormwater challenges, growth, and the everyday concerns residents brought forward.

Tim also worked to make public information more approachable through direct community conversations and regular social updates. He believes transparency is more than publishing documents—it is explaining choices, hearing disagreement, and being available when people have questions.

Now he is bringing that municipal perspective to a countywide campaign. District 1 needs a commissioner who understands the pressures facing coastal communities and the shared challenges connecting them to the rest of Pender County.
